# Vaultin AI > Vaultin AI is a Mac app for law, accounting and advisory firms in the UK and Ireland that lets staff use AI on client work without client identities leaving the firm. Names, companies, dates and references are replaced with placeholders such as [PERSON_1] on the user's computer before anything is sent to the AI, and put back before the user reads the answer. Key facts: - Runs on Macs with an Apple chip (M1 or later), macOS 13 Ventura or later. Windows is coming soon. - Client files, conversations and real names stay on the firm's computers, in a vault encrypted with SQLCipher and a passphrase. - Users can review every passage and every replaced value before a request is sent, and every request is recorded in a hash-chained audit log. - Works with the firm's own Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Mistral or any OpenAI-compatible account. On that plan requests go straight to the provider and never pass through Vaultin AI. - A fully managed plan, with the AI included and hosted in the EU, is coming; on it only anonymised text passes through Vaultin AI, and it is not stored. - Pricing: €20 per person a month or €200 a year with the firm's own AI account; fully managed €30 a month or €300 a year (waitlist). Prices exclude VAT. 14-day free trial. If a subscription ends, the vault opens read only. - Operated by Datatech Solutions LLC.
