Terms of use

Who we are
Vaultin AI is operated by Datatech Solutions LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). These terms cover this website and the Vaultin AI desktop app, including the free pilot. Vaultin AI is for firms and professionals, not consumers. For anything in these terms, email support@vaultin.ai.
Using the app
- We give your firm a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Vaultin AI app on its own computers, for its own work, for as long as we give you access.
- You may not copy, resell, modify or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
- Keep your account details secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used them.
Your client work
The app runs on your firm’s computers. Your client files and conversations stay there, and we do not receive them.
When you use the AI, anonymised text goes directly from your computer to the AI provider your firm chose, under your firm’s own account and agreement with that provider. That agreement governs how the provider handles what it receives, and the provider bills you directly. We do not run the provider’s service and are not responsible for it.
Your firm remains responsible for its professional and confidentiality obligations, and for how its staff use the app.
Automatic anonymisation
Vaultin AI replaces names and other client details automatically. No automatic method is perfect: a detail can be missed, and surrounding facts can sometimes identify a person even without a name. You can see exactly what was sent in any conversation, and you should check it for sensitive work.
AI answers
Answers come from your AI provider and can be wrong or incomplete. They are not legal, tax or financial advice from us. Check them before you rely on them or send them to a client.
The pilot
The pilot is free and is an early version of Vaultin AI. Features may change, and there may be bugs or interruptions. We may change what the pilot includes, or end it, with reasonable notice. We may use feedback you give us to improve Vaultin AI. If we offer paid plans later, separate terms will apply to them.
Ownership
The app, this website and the Vaultin AI name belong to us or our licensors. Your documents, and the work you create with the app, belong to you.
Liability
The pilot is provided free and “as is”. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties about it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, goodwill or data. Our total liability to you in connection with the pilot is limited to £100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or when the pilot ends. Your files stay on your computers, and nothing of your client work is held by us.
This website
The information on this website is general and may change. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we will email pilot firms before it applies, and update the date above.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
